To the consumer, it all sounds planet-positive.<\/p><p>The marketing spin is clear: ditching animal hides equals progress. But there\u2019s the uncomfortable truth that leather\u2019s decline doesn\u2019t fix the problem.<\/p><p>Leather has never been the primary product of the beef or dairy industries.
