Whether it&#8217;s a golf kit, an autograph, or <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dmarge.com\/cars\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a car<\/a>, a President&#8217;s name attached to an object makes it much more valuable. Image: Rock Star Auction<\/figcaption><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-presidential-premium\">The Presidential Premium<\/h2><p>Trump&#8217;s F430 was put up for auction by <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/rockstarcarauction.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rockstar Car Auctions<\/a> in January, just before Trump&#8217;s inauguration, and was sold on March 9th. Its starting bid was just under $45,000 USD (~$71,000 AUD). The car is one of Ferrari&#8217;s finest naturally-aspirated V8 supercars and has a Rosso Corsa paint job protected by a paint protection film.<\/p><p>The car, that is almost two decades old, also has a luxurious tan interior and has been kept in near-mint condition, showing fewer than 10,000 miles on the odometer. Its features include an F1 robotised manual transmission, a full carbon-fiber interior package, and Scuderia shields on the fenders. Image: Rock Star Auction<\/figcaption><\/figure><p>While a well-kept F430 will always be desirable, it&#8217;s safe to say that the final price of $999,999 USD wasn&#8217;t about the car itself. The fact that it once belonged to Trump was the real selling point. Without Trump&#8217;s name attached, experts suggest it would have sold for around $150,000 USD.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-trump-s-lamborghini-diablo\">Trump&#8217;s Lamborghini Diablo<\/h2><p>This isn&#8217;t the first time a Trump-owned car has made big bucks. Given his recent public admiration for Elon Musk, could a Tesla be next? Who knows.
